The value of stock equated to €150k. Even though this was high they still managed to have shortages due to poor stock control. Using 5S the whole workplace was re-organised creating visibility of the stock on the shelves, and in particular incorporating minimum and maximum stock levels.  The stock now fluctuates between a minimum of €30k and a maximum of €90k. Overall the stock reduced by €60k from previous levels improving cashflow, and is well controlled. As it’s also very visible, savings have been made in the time required to collate and despatch orders.


With the expertise of Paula we were able to flow work through at a greater amount without any extra staff and more importantly without any stress on the existing staff.
